Demleen is an organization that focuses on supporting small and medium-sized african enterprises (SMEs) in accessing financing for their business operations.
They achieve this by utilizing a digital platform that connects these SMEs with guarantors, financiers, and investors, who support the African Private sector
With this platform, entities willing to provide a guarantee for a loan or investment, can access, evaluate and decide whether to support the SME profiles who are looking to access bank loans.
Demleen's mission is to empower and uplift small and medium-sized african enterprises (SMEs) by providing them with access to financing opportunities. Through our digital platform, we strive to connect impactful SMEs with guarantors, financiers, and investors, fostering growth and driving positive change in their industries.

Demleen chooses to roll out its first offer by betting on the power of the guarantee: by allowing investors to stand as guarantors, we maximize the impact thanks to a significant leverage effect. Thanks to the levels of guarantees granted, the company can then mobilize up to double in bank financing and/or other types of financing with greater ease.
A first version of the platform is expected for the month of Q3 2023. A waiting list is currently open for interested investors.

Demleen actively believes in alliances and partnerships with various organizations to enhance its mission of supporting African SMEs and connecting them with impact investors.

Demleen's digital platform serves as a connection hub between African SMEs and impact investors interested in making a change in Africa.
SMEs can showcase their business models, strategies, and financing needs on the secured platform. Impact investors can browse through these profiles, evaluate potential investment opportunities, and connect directly with the SMEs they are interested in supporting.
Demleen selects formalized SMEs with a proven model (at least three years of operations), based on their potential for impact and growth. Criteria may include factors such as social and environmental impact, financial viability, and alignment with the sustainable development goals. SMEs are evaluated through a thorough screening process to ensure the quality and suitability of ventures on the platform.
